SCGH – Medical Technology and Physics Masterplan

After Delivering a both Rethermalization project, and the G Block Kitchen Master Plan at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, PDA was appointed by North Metropolitan Health to prepare a Masterplan for the Department of Medical Technology and Physics.

The Masterplan Report was prepared to inform the proposed Business Case for increased production of cyclotron‐derived PET radiopharmaceuticals for increasing demand for medical imaging and to achieve compliance with industry standards, including GMP certification.

Planning reviewed options for additional production including adding a future cyclotron. The facility is the single producer of cyclotron‐derived radiopharmaceuticals for WA and the masterplan has considered the need to maintain current production during construction and expansion works.

Approximate value of completed project will be $20m.
