Fiona Stanley Hospital

PDA were appointed by the State Government to deliver two major laboratory projects as part of the Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) ancillary works, including a PC2 Laboratory.

The project included design and  fitout of Cell and Tissue Therapies (420m2 of PC2) and Theranostics Radiopharmaceuticals (250m2) Laboratories for the South Metropolitan Health Service. Base building and shelled areas were completed as part of the FSH main contract.

The $8m works included extensive strategic planning, clinical services planning and capital / recurrent costing exercises as part of business case preparation in line with State Treasury requirements. PDA also performed the role of Superintendent under the building contract.

As Project Managers for the adjacent $260m St John of God Murdoch Hospital Redevelopment, PDA managed many interfaces with FSH, including the construction of the new Puffin Crossing with Main Roads WA and the State Government, connecting the two major hospitals.
